We decided to take a spur of the moment trip to Chattanooga during Eliza's springbreak, and we had a great time! The kids really enjoyed every part of the trip and Justin and I had a nice time too.

The 1st week of March

This month has started-off pretty fun! I did, however, lose the diamond out of my new ring Justin just purchased for me not even 3 months ago. On another note, Justin had some friends meet us at Whiskey Kitchen for my 31st birthday...We had a fun night! I also want to thank Nana (Justin's mom) for coming-up for the weekend...sadly we didn't get any pictures this visit. I think this will be a great year :o)

We had a wonderful time in Destin this year and beautiful weather too. The kids loved the beach...most days anyhow. Eliza kept insisting she wanted to go to the pool, but once we were actually on the beach or in the ocean, she was happy. We were so excited for our moms to make the trip this year...they are always such a big help! This year was especially great because the saylor's joined us. I got soooo spoiled hanging around them...it's pretty sad we are now 2.5 hours away again. It was so nice to relax by the ocean, pool, restaurants, and everywhere else all together. I know Justin will miss seeing the kids all of the time now that he's back at work...and maybe me too :0). There are a TON of pics...get ready!

A busy weekend...

We've had a busy past couple of days. On Friday Justin took the day off and we headed downtown for to walk around and to have lunch and then we headed over to city hall to let Eliza play in the fountains...but they were off, so she played in the reflecting pools instead. We had a lot of fun and were happy to spend the day with daddy.

On Saturday we headed over to Justin's boss's house for the day for a get together. Thanks to the McWright's for a great day!

On Sunday we headed to Erin to go to Whiteoak creek for the day. We had a great day there with nana and pappy ;)

Noah is 14 months old now...this is flying faster each day! He is doing anything and everything you can imagine...he loves to walk, run, climb on anything especially...up and down the stairs, sweep, EAT ALL THE TIME, laugh, love, says mama, dada, yiyi (Eliza), NO, yes, chick, dog, ball, juice, shoe, hi, bye-bye, and more that I just can't think of right now :o. He loves exploring, opens all cabinets, takes things out, puts them back, empties every bin in Eliza's room, and now he loves hiding from us...under chairs, behind the couch, or wherever he can fit :).

He is hilarious and so happy all of the time...except when he's hungry, then he means serious business...and don't you dare run out of food while he's still in the chair, you better begin getting him down while his mouth is still full and you're holding more in your hand ready to appease him when necessary. We are blessed to have such a precious addition to our family.

Well, Saturday was the big day, and we all headed to Louisville bright and early. Eliza was so excited to go to Everett's party, and she could not wait to get there. Eliza had her luau at school on Thursday to end her 1st year of preschool. She loved this year, and can't wait for August to come so she can get back to all of her friends! She was really excited to learn that her teacher from this year will be substituting next year, so one day Eliza might have her again...we love Miss Wanda. Well, all of the kids seemed to really enjoy the luau and all of the fun outside too. We're glad that summer is here, but I know Eliza will miss all of her friends from school, so we will have to arrange some play-dates soon. Lots of pics below :)

So yesterday, I was talking to Courtney and saying how I wish we could hangout and go to the zoo or something...and then I said we could go to Beach Bend Park in Bowling Green. Well, of course it wasn't open on Wednesdays until after Memorial day weekend...just our luck. But we decided to go have a picnic and play in a park instead. We had a great time and can't wait to meet-up again soon...and maybe hit-up Beach Beach Bend. LOTS of pics below...

Two Birthday Parties

My cousin Kelley's little boy Ryan celebrated his second birthday on Saturday...he is TWO! Happy bday little guy :) I was glad to get to see him blow out his candles before heading to the second party.

Noah had his 1 year check-up today, and he did great! He was 30" long (55%) and weighs 21lbs. and 4oz (30%). He did have to get 2 shots, but he only cried for a minute...he's a tough little guy. He also gets to face-forward in his carseat now...he's big! Eliza loves having him the new way...just like her ;). Way to go Noah!

We had a small cake today to celebrate sweet Noah's 1st birthday...needless to say, he LOVED it!

We cannot believe that this year has passed by so quickly...it seems like a minute ago that we brought him home from the hospital to our new little world. We are so blessed to have him and Eliza...they teach us new things all the time, and we teach them a couple of things too I hope.

Noah began to walk this week (about 7 steps at a time now)...and it looks like he's not going to sit still much at all now. He loves to play with Eliza...for a little while at least. He eats everything in sight...and wants all things forbidden. He knows what he's not suppose to have or do, so when he gets it or is doing it and we come toward him...he looks like he's moving 1oo miles an hour...to do it or have it a little while longer. For example, he loves to walk over to the window, and then look at you. Next he begins to slowly play with the blinds, once he knows your coming, he hits the blinds as quickly as possible until you raise them or move him, and he is laughing hysterically the entire time. He's gonna be a handful of trouble I think.

He can say a few words, dada, yiza (Eliza), bye-bye, cacka (cracker), ball, and his new word Eliza taught him to say....TOP (but it means STOP) all caps are because he yells it. He is sooo sweet and already pretty funny too. We all love him so much...what a sweet blessing!

We had a great Easter this year...We headed to church today, then outside to pose for a few pictures. We got to go to another Easter egg hunt, and this one was at Papa and Grandma Debbie's house. Noah's is getting sweeter by the day! He loves rolling or throwing the ball back and forth, climbing on whatever will hold him up, cruising anywhere and everywhere possible...usually not where he's suppose to be, being loud and silly...once you get him laughing it's all over, and genuinely he just likes to have a good time. He's such a sweet little guy ;)

Nineteen Days Later...

Well, I haven't gotten a chance to post in oh...19 days...so this is a long one :)

Eliza and Daddy (Justin) found a treasure map, followed it, and came home with a box full of a beautiful treasure! She had the best time...and I think Justin had as much fun as she did.

Nana came up for a visit a few weeks back...she and Eliza hung a new bird house out back. Eliza loves it!

We made it to the zoo on St. Patrick's Day and had a great time...PERFECT weather...we wish it would come back :)

Irish day was soooo much fun in Erin this year. Eliza loved the parade, the rides and seeing all of her family...thanks for the great day!

We got to go to play with Cayson...he and Eliza loved the suckers April gave them...Yey for sugar at 8:00pm!

We went to my sister-in-law's house to visit for a while after Eliza got out of school, and the girls had a lot of fun...minus a collision between Cait and Eliza ;( it looked worse than it was...lots of Eliza's blood, but only a little busted lip.

Oh, and Congratulations is in order...Eliza and Noah are going to have another cousin...sometime in October or November :0 Yay!

I am on spring break this week so we got to go to a great playdate. Noah had sooo much fun, and I consumed about 1500 calories in a couple of hours :0! Thanks to Kandace for being such a great hostess...I hope we are able to come again soon.

So Noah is 10-months-old today! 2 more months and he's officially a toddler...I can't believe it. He is soooo funny, and a really good sport...as you can see below. His sister really enjoys dress-up...and loves dressing-up the little guy too.

Well, Noah had his check-up this morning...he weighs 20lb and 3oz (45%) and is 28" long (45%). The big guys is finally burning off some calories with all of his movement :) He had to get two shots and a finger prick, but he did great! Way to go buddy!

Happy Nine Months...and two days

Well, Noah is finally crawling forward...way to go bud! He was a professional roller for the longest time, but has now mastered the fine art of crawling. He also loves to pull-up on any and everything, and then cruise around as much as possible. He is hilarious...and he thinks Eliza is pretty funny too. She thinks it's so neat that he can stand up for a minute without holding onto anything...she says, "when's he gonna walk?" I think we are still a few months away, so she'll just have to wait. He is also eating puffs, drinking out of a sippy, and is on strike against the bottle, but for some reason will nurse anytime...maybe he and Carson should form a club. Noah goes to the dr. for his check-up on the 13th, so I'll post his stats then.

This is unusual...Noah is asleep during the day or at all :) He is still crawling...backwards and rolling all around the room. He has his 2 bottom teeth now, and is starting to bite a little...OUCH! He's getting big so fast...I just can't believe it.

The 1st snow of December

Eliza was soooo excited when it started to snow last night...she wanted to go right outside and play in it. She was a little disappointed when I said no, but she quickly got over it when I told her she could play in it in the morning. So right when she woke-up, she rushed in and asked daddy to take her out and play in it...she knows that mama doesn't do snow...too cold for me. It was beautiful though...especially through the window :)

Christmas Break!

Thank goodness it's time for a break...I really needed one. I am finished with my 1st semester of nursing school! I start my clinicals in January and I'm so excited but a little nervous. Oh well, I'm not going to think about school for the next 5 weeks and that sounds great to me :)

Thanks to my mom and Justin for helping out so much with the kids and everything else...y'all are great!

Train ride with Santa

Eliza got to go on her 1st train ride yesterday, and the best part...she got to see Santa! We all had a great time...she loved the train ride, but when we were headed back to the depot, she kept saying, "Now where is Santa?" It was really sweet...she was pretty patient, and we were really proud of her.
